HOBART HISTORIC WALK
Enduringly popular, this tour goes for 1 ½ hrs and provides a wonderful insight into Hobart's history and background. Your guide will explain the significance of the many heritage-listed buildings that are still a visible part of Hobart and make up much of its charm, together with stories of relevant personages and factors that were major influences in those early days.

BATTERY POINT WALK
Beloved by all, Battery Point is an area of unique charm, with small artisans' cottages as well as grand homes. Famous for Arthur's Circus, a nostalgic recreation of 'olde England' by Gov. Arthur in the 1840's, it also has delightful gardens, dreamy water vistas and unique St. Georges Church... Battery Point is very special!

| OLD HOBART PUB TOUR
Learn about Hobart's underbelly while you enjoy a drink at any of the three old waterfront pubs you will visit on this tour. A free sampling of local bush liqueurs is included in the price. Hear of brothels, smugglers, characters you wouldn't want to meet in the dark, and much more on this relaxing 1 ½ hr adventure into a murky but fascinating past. Not recommended for children.

| POLAR PATHWAY WALK
Explore Hobart’s long and ongoing fascination with the great Southern Ice! In 1840 the handsome Captain James Clark Ross took two fragile wooden sailing ships into the – then – literally Unknown, and returned to great acclamations and the grandest ball Hobart had seen to date. Many others left this port to risk their lives in further exploration, and Amundsen himself returned here after being the first to finally reach the fabled South Pole. Hear stories of high hopes and great adventures.
This Walk is available on other days, at any hour to suit, for groups of 6 persons or more (max 65).

at the TTIC, as above).

throughout the season, 1st October to 30th April and providing there is a minimum of two participants. All walks finish in the waterfront area. It is appreciated if you can be there 10 mins before departure. Concession and family prices available. Min. two persons per tour. Easy walking pace, average fitness required. Wheelchair accessible, but not on the Pub Tour.
